Maybe you should stop twisting our realities and the facts of media normalisation for the sake of an argument that’s clearly primarily based on your need for strangers on the internet to approve of your life choices. I don’t think it’s too much to ask people to have a degree of responsibility for what they put online, especially in a community so full of young people. That doesn’t mean dictating what people create: it means accepting that you have influence over other people, and if you’re not willing to admit that, maybe that’s why you shouldn’t be posting online.
