iMessage Stickers not original idea

What Apple is doing with iOS 10 iMessage stickers reminds me of Instagram’s copy cat of Snapchat feature on Stories. Japan-based messaging app “Line” has stickers feature since its beginning in 2011. More than 1 billion stickers were sent by worldwide users of 400 million. The app, very popular in hi-tech Asian countries, makes more than $270 million a year selling stickers. Other social media giants such as Facebook, Twitter and more recently Snapchat started to roll out stickers on their platform.

Finally, Apple is doing a catch up to keep up with the Joneses. Well, it’s better late than never, right?
