A Price/Quality Ratio of Software Development by Regions

If you’ve ever thought about hiring offshore developers, the first question that probably popped up in your head was “How much will it cost?”
The truth is that there is no any single answer to this question since, besides such aspects as a type of services and the complexity of the features which need to be included in a product, the price depends on the geographical area where engineers are located.
And the range is really wide, for example, the US team with rates of about $100–200 may charge up to 10–15 times more than, let’s say, Indian developers whose hourly rates vary between 15 and 40 dollars.
But, the price is not the only factor that you need to consider when you choose people for your project. A price/quality ratio is even more important because no one wants to compromise on the quality of a final product even if the costs are really low.
If you don’t want to overpay or receive a cheap solution that doesn’t work in practice, you should also look also at a time zone, level of tech competency, English skills, work approach and mentality. Read more here.
