D.E.V. Update #1: MARA’s Monsters Improved
Welcome to our very first D.E.V. update for REVENGE! As part of our commitment to transparent development, we’re keeping you in the loop on exciting new features and changes every few weeks.
Today, we’re thrilled to reveal some massive upgrades to MARA’s digital monsters:
Pawn Upgrades:
We’ve been tinkering with the Pawn AI and introduced a new ability: if a Raider reaches an area that Pawns can’t access, they’ll dematerialize and teleport next to them. This means rooftops and higher ground will only grant you a few moments to restock on ammo and health with your Guide before the danger closes in again.
Enhanced Knights:
Knights have also received a powerful new ability to stay in pursuit. When a Raider is too far away, they’ll leap up into the air, mark their position with a red indicator, and slam down with explosive force after a few seconds. Failing to get out of the marked zone in time will result in heavy damage!
These updates make both Pawns and Knights more unpredictable, as well as a constant and dynamic threat, forcing you to pay attention to their movements and strategize more.
