Craft fair at Valentines mansion

We decided to check out the craft fair in Ilford with Aiden. I always loved this kind of stuff and u can always discover new, interesting, unique things, products. I would like to introduce you some of my favourites. Later I’m planning to have a better introduction to some of the local businesses in form of a short report as well.

Valentines Mansion- the building where The Great British Bake Off was filmed in 2011
MC. Chocolatier from Leyton

‘ Marco Clares has been in the food industry for the last 12 years in London. He has developed a fine taste for chocolates, especially Belgian ones!’ That’s what they say about themselves on Facebook, and I felt, like I’m in Chocolate-heaven!

Woodford & Warner from Woodford Green

All this products are made by a lady, who spent her childhood in Trinidad and Tobago, later, after they moved to Manchaster, she attended and graduated from the University of Manchester with a BSc in Honours Chemistry. Very impressive. Sorrel is the Caribbean name given to the calyx of the Hibiscus Sabdariffa flower. Her products contain no additives or preservatives. But there is so much more! Go, take a look!

The Wild Irish from Chelmsford

‘Concentrated Skin Food’. I love her products! They nourish, protect, regenerate, detox and offer anti aging properties. Plus no water, preservatives, palm oil, artificial colors, fragrance oils or animal products (except goats milk). Her products are all Vegetarian friendly and most are vegan friendly. Something I can use safely even while expecting.

Kiki’s house from Ipswich Suffolk area

They do ‘handmade soaps, bath bombs & candles. Gifts, Wedding & Baby shower favours.’ I loved the candles made of soy wax.

Maddog Cottage Creations from Cambridgeshire

‘Maddog Cottage Creations was founded by Liz Tory in August 2014. The idea behind the business is that everything sold must be created at home; Maddog Cottage. Liz creates collections of jewellery, a range of scented candles and reed diffusers, along with transforming unique pieces of painted and shabby chic furniture.’ I’m a bit of a candle fanatic, but which woman isn’t?

Honey Heaven from Leytonstone

Another favourite of my, since we consume a lot of honey. But this, this is unique! They are offering healthy raw creamed honeys with herbs and spices. Cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, rosehip, bee pollen and propoils, winter spice in Honey. And of course it does not contain any added flavourings or aromas! How exciting this sounds??

Made by Kery Edmonds from Walthamstow

Beautiful handmade jewellery. Check out the pictures on Instagram.

It was a very interesting day, I had to realize that there are so many small businesses around me, with so many precious, handmade, natural products, I just didn’t know, where to find them!

Thank you so much, Valentines Mansion!
