Building Products / Solutions Which Customer Will Really Use

Since last few years, I have changed the way I used to develop software products / solution, which has enabled me to deliver solutions which customer really use. The following article is my attempt to help you understand this concept.

Minimum Viable Product (MVP) & LeanStartup Steps are the two innovative means that have provided better results in development & launching.

#LeanStartup is a way of working as Startup with minimum resources, & focusing on delivering product/solution in an incremental way. The minimum product which can be rolled out at each iteration to the customer is termed as MVP. After each iteration the customer’s MVP usage is measured using various important metrics to help enhance the product to the next level.

The following simple visual explains the concept of the #Leanstartup.

In the figure the intended end product is a CAR. As we are aware, a conventional method of any product development cycle, as shown in the first row starts with a basic framework of the end product. But in a leanstartup, at every iteration a MVP is rollout, e.g. stake board, bicycle, bike… which customer can use to provide feedback. Note: Stake Board, Bicycle shown in the figure are just an example of working MVP, it doesn't imply these will transform to CAR.

This model of iterative development helps early feedback and increases the success of the final product, which customer will really use.
