GK Shelters updates about Market to see 7% rise in rents by 2016
Capital values of the commercial properties are set to rise by around 5% with prime office spaces expected to see the strongest gains at 7.8% by May 2016, according to RICS’ Global Commercial Property Monitor, which tracks the trends in the commercial property investment and occupier markets.
RICS members around the world remain positive about the commercial property market even though concerns persist about the sustainability of the upswing in the global economy.
The Indian commercial property market seems to be on the upswing. Demand is outstripping supply; resultantly rentals and capital values are experiencing a surge, albeit modest in some markets. There is dearth of available supply of grade an office/commercial spaces across major cities in India like Delhi, Mumbai , Bangalore.
