But that does not matter to true-believer christians. They are “just,” and everyone else is “ungodly” and in need of “redemption,” as they see it; by being “born again,” and baptized, and accepting their world view. All of it.

It sucks that you’ve come to these conclusions without having relationships with real Christians. So to claim “true-believer Christians” feel they are “just”, from an uninformed point of view throws a big wrench into what you’re trying to say, at least for me. A true-believer Christian who knows I am not just.

You somehow drifted from critiquing the religious right to generalizing about a huge group of people. But the Christians who didn’t vote R, we see the “Evangelicals” as you seem to. But their agenda isn’t God-centered, like you think. Their agenda is them-centered, and if God “helps” them get there, then they use God.
