At least eight people have been killed and 11 others injured in a vehicular attack on a crowded bike and pedestrian path along the Hudson river in Lower Manhattan, New York City, United States, during the afternoon hours of October 31. The Saudi Ministry of Interior (MoI), on October 6, announced killing of two Islamic State (IS) militants and arrest of five others in a well coordinated security raids in al-Rimal neighborhood, Namar district and al-Ha’ir located in and around Riyadh city on October 5. Furthermore, according to the official state news agency , the militant hideout in al-Rimal, located in the northern outskirts of Riyadh, was being used for manufacturing explosive devices.
