Ok, I see your point. But in many cases I have started conversations with women out in the open world for the simple enjoyment of a conversation with a stranger. I have done this with men as well and in both cases it has opened up new opportunities.

I think the idea that one should be social in only certain contexts is like saying you should only ever eat at the dinner table. In many cases opening conversations with people outside in the real world brings a new social paradigm and is an adventure in itself. As long as your intention is honest, what is the harm in a conversation?
