As you imply, we talk about the greatest boxers, we talk about the best “pound-for-pound” boxers. So Floyd Mayweather couldn’t fight Ali, but we appreciate that they were comparably-great champions (if incomparably different human beings). We compare their greatness despite them being born so physically different.

So lets just say that Serena has a very good claim to be the greatest chromosone-for-chromosone tennis player who ever lived, and leave it at that.
