Agreed. Not a lot of substance in this piece, just destructive criticism.

Well…no. The problem with Barkley leading the show is two fold. For one, his opinion is not particularly nuanced or flexible in any regard, and he has already formed his own opinion and is trying to push his narrative. The dialogue he is supposedly trying to open is that black people just need to be better for police to stop murdering them, there I saved you a viewing. At one point in the show after speaking to a myriad of different individuals of various roles he still ends the episode preaching that black folk need to just do better so we can stop being killed. Not a very enlightened or open minded point of view to say the least. Nobody in their right mind believes ALL police are evil headhunting killers of people of color. This mindset only exists with issues like this where people assume what you mean without saying it.
