Hi Sherrif. I don’t usually comment on stuff but I can relate and all I want to say is you are a Great Man — and I’m not saying it to make you feel good.
I had a similar experience with failure 4years ago. I was depressed, suicidal and just plain miserable. And for some strange reason I did what you just did, shared my story on a blog. Every one thought I was mad, but it was one of the best thing I did in my life. I deleted my blogpost last year because I’m now out of that phase but I found a link to another blog that carried it.
You are a Great man and a true leader, because:
- You owned up to your mistakes .
- You shared it with the world.
The comments on my blogpost from friends, strangers — heck, even my Dad who was so mad at me commented when my sister showed him the post. The comments gave me life, they gave me hope, they gave me a reason to dust myself up and do better. Judging from the comments here too, I can tell that it’ll only get better.
4 years on I have the best life I could have ever asked for and it can only get better. The only way now for you is UP ;)
A problem shared is a problem solved
Thanks for sharing :)
