it’s okay to be upset. You can’t have the have the good times without the bad, you’d never know what it means to be happy if you were never sad.
it’s okay to not know what to do. to be lost. confused. you’re not the only one.
it’s okay to ask for help. you aren’t going to be hurt. people want to help each other. they want to help you too.
yes. you! you deserve to be helped. you’re a living being. your life has value. really; it does.
it’s okay to cry. it’s okay to cry in public. it’s okay to cry a lot. it’s okay to express emotion. it’s what makes us alive. you’re alive. trust me.
it’s okay if things don’t work out as planned. that job. that school. that dream. it may not seem that way, but things will work out for the best.
it’s okay to feel like you’re trapped. like you’re in a dark place. you’re a seed in the dirt. keep pushing up. you will eventually reach the light.

be easy on yourself. the world doesn’t need your help in making your life any harder.
don’t judge yourself. most people don’t have the time to judge you as harshly as you think they are.
it’s okay to be afraid. we all have fears. fear of heights. fear of help. fear of love. try your best to do what you want to in spite of your fears.
