Hello voyagers, let’s start an experiment to build a community!
First, let’s ask ourselves: Who are the owners of the Gaia community?
As a decentralized project, Gaia belongs to every participant. Now that our community has entered a new phase of development, it’s time to build a high-quality decentralized AI (DeAI) community together!
Experiment Goals:
We aim to achieve the following goals within two weeks, starting from June 27, 2024.
Let’s track our progress using metrics such as the number of Discord members, general channel messages, live nodes, and throughputs. These metrics will be visible to everyone.
How Will We Achieve Our Goals?
We will achieve our goals through external promotion and community engagement activities to drive growth. By encouraging new members to join and actively participate, as well as organizing various community events, the number of general channel messages will reflect the activity level within the community. After establishing a larger and more active DeAI community, we believe that the Gaia network’s live nodes and throughputs will also increase.
Who Will Lead This Experiment?
To drive community-building efforts, we have established three core roles with clear objectives:
Communications Officer:
- Promoter, shares GaiaNet content on various platforms (social media, forums, etc.) and participates in AMA events.
Diplomatic Officer:
- Welcomer, introduces new members, especially AI professionals, facilitates important project collaborations, and organizes joint activities.
Operations Officer:
- Educator, creates high-quality educational content (articles, video tutorials, online courses), maintains multi-language channels, helps community members install Nodes, and organizes weekly community calls.

How to Earn Rewards?
As many have anticipated, Gaia will launch a comprehensive incentive program in the future to reward community contributors. Before this incentive program launches, we have set up a 1000 USDT reward pool to incentivize community builders, named the Red Pool.

The first phase of the Red Pool will be distributed based on achieving community-building goals. Each core builder will receive a share of the 1000 USDT based on the proportion of community stars they hold.

This is just an experimental phase of community building. During this period, we will continuously improve based on feedback from community members. We believe in fostering active participation and collaboration to drive GaiaNet forward and achieve our grand objectives.
