Normal Gameplay

When playing Galactic Islands, most players will experience their first contact with in-game items of real value when they are victorious in a standard battle, upgrade one of their units or simply reach a new level.

At any time during gameplay, Galactic Islands players may receive Island Chests. On the rare occasions that Island Chests are dropped, players will open them to receive a range of random in-game items.

These may be standard resources or common items — but Island Chests may also potentially contain items of significance, highly rare items, booster items and other items with highly sought-after attributes and rarities.

If players are feeling lucky, they can also purchase Island Chests in-game with accumulated ecosystem tokens.

Mining Planets & Owning Land

In Galactic Islands, players can stake in-game land NFTs.

Players can do this in any of the 3 Land Areas of the Galactic Islands Universe, and this will render this land NFT available in the game as a second base.

Just like a player’s initial base, this second base will require upgrades and attention to ensure that it is ready for any battles, as well as to generate its maximum P&E output.

If other players attack your second base and you cannot defend it, didn’t active Volunteer Defence or your Volunteer Defender lost, they will be able to claim up to 70% of its NPC base earnings.

If your Defender wins against the attacking players, you will share your mining profits 50/50 with them.

Whenever you unstake your in-game land NFT, all land building and upgrades for this second base will reset to zero — until you decide to stake your NFT once more.

Tournaments

The Galactic Islands Universe will host weekly, monthly and special stand-alone tournaments that present players across the galaxy to win incredible rewards.

Other chains and partners can host chain or brand-exclusive tournaments that can only be entered by players who hold specific chain or brand items.

These tournament models opens players up to incredible payouts for increased playtime and engagement, as well as delivers direct global exposure to a global player base to the ever-growing collective of future-facing projects partnered with Galactic Islands.

Warzone Battles & Clan Wars

In Warzone Battles, the stakes are high to say the least.

Galactic Islands players can directly lose up to 25% of their real value resources to the player who beats them.

If desired, resources claimed in Warzone Battle victories can then be sold at open market value or for a fixed price to other players via the in-game market — or to Galactic Islands itself.

During Warzone Battles, there is a higher chance of Island Chests dropping — as well as a higher probability of those chests containing Warzone-exclusive booster items and skin drops. In fact, the chance of these items is influenced by the amount of War Bank resources taken into fights by the player — so bravery is rewarded!

Clan Wars, similarly, feature special odds that inspire unique in-game situations.

Clan Wars can be entered into without War Bank resources, however if you decide to team up with others (and fill your Clan War Bank via gameplay or personal war bank donations) then you can match other Clans for real value resources and item lost or gained.
