Introducing…Thebe!
One of the most unique aspects to Galactic Islands is its controllable heroes. Other base-building games may have heroes, but they can only be placed in a spot and allowed to move along a predetermined path.
In Galactic Islands, the heroes can be controlled on-the-fly. This greatly enhances the strategic complexity of the game because the player must always try to anticipate the moves of the opposing players’ heroes, which are not predetermined.
But this complexity can only be fun if the heroes themselves are fun to play. So today, we want to introduce you to the first Galactic Islands hero, Thebe!
A Brief Biography of Thebe
Thebe was born to a wealthy family on the planet of Udade, a tropical paradise full of white, sandy beaches, and fruit trees. Only the very wealthiest families in the Federation can afford to live on Udade.
Thebe grew up with a life of luxury. She had every amenity a girl could want, except one: freedom.
As is the case with most wealthy Federation families, keeping up appearances and gaining status was the sole vocation of Thebe’s parents. But Thebe had no interest in pleasing society. She wanted a life of adventure and excitement.
Thebe has a sister named Zuri, who is the most important person to her in the world. When Thebe’s parents tried to force Zuri into an arranged marriage, Thebe decided that they had both suffered enough.
Thebe took off with her sister and a substantial portion of the family fortune, and sought out a life of adventure.
She spent the next ten years training with the greatest assassins in the galaxy and building her business as a killer-for-hire. She has now become one of the highest paid assassins in the Kaantom System.
Most pirates will attest that Thebe’s high fees are worth it. She has so far never failed to eliminate a target.
Thebe uses her income from this business to fund Zuri’s (very expensive) mobile medical school tuition, as well as on Thebe’s gambling hobby. She is a well-known high roller at some of the Kaantom System’s most exclusive casinos.
Playing Thebe
Thebe is most known for her excellent ranged attack and AOE skills. If you need to clear out a large number of enemies quickly, Thebe may be the right hero for you. This is especially true if you need to take these enemies out from a distance.
However, be careful not to get Thebe too close to the action. She has low HP, so she can die very easily if she gets surrounded.

DPS
Thebe is ranked 3 out of 5 for DPS. So her damage is average compared to other heroes.
HP
Thebe’s HP is ranked 1 out of 5. So she is quite squishy, and is best used for surgical strikes (she is an assassin after all).
Range
Thebe is ranked 4 out of 5 for range. She has some of the longest-ranged attacks of any character in the game.
Movement Speed
She is a very fast character. Thebe has a movement speed ranking of 4 out of 5. This makes it easy for her to take out an enemy and move away quickly.
Simplicity
The Simplicity ranking for Thebe is 3 out of 5. She is of average difficulty to control.
Attacks and abilities
Thebe’s basic attack is single-target, ranged, and works on the ground or in the air. Her abilities are AOE, ranged, and work on the ground or in the air.
Thebe, the Hero Assassin
Thebe is a great hero for taking out large numbers of enemies from far away. But remember, she is quite squishy. If you need a character that can sustain lots of damage over a period of time, you may want to use someone a little more tanky.
