Christmas Trees in Gales Creek
Gales Creek- Christmas is just around the corner, and already, families are driving out into the cold and searching for that one perfect tree. This year, we decided to help in that search- we visited five different Christmas tree farms in the Gales Creek area and have listed information for all them. Happy Holidays!
Little Beaver Creek Farms
Located just a mile off of Highway 6, if you’re coming from Banks, take a right on NW Parson’s road, from Gales Creek, take a left. Drive for about a mile, following the Christmas tree signs until you get there.
Species: Noble, Grand.
Price: $30/tree.
Services: warming fire, tree cutting.
Hours: Saturday 9–4, Sunday 10–3.
Windy Hill Acres Christmas Tree Farm
From Eastbound Highway 6, take a left on NW Timmerman road and another left on NW Wilson School road. Farm is on the right.
Species: Noble, Grand.
Price: Under 6': $20/tree. Over 6': $30/tree.
Services: hot chocolate, candy canes.
Other products: wreaths, ornaments.
Hours: Saturday, Sunday 9–5.

Howell Tree Farm
From Hwy 8, turn on Cox road. You can’t miss the giant Howell Tree Farm sign.

Price: $5/foot.
Services: free shaking and wrapping, tree cutting, saws.
Hours: All days until Christmas, 9–5.

Gales Creek Forge Christmas Trees
Heading East on Highway 8 just after Roderick road, take a left at the Christmas Tree Farm signs. Drive to the top of the hill.
Species: Douglas, Grand, Noble.
Price: Douglas, Grand: $15/tree. Noble: $25/tree.
Other Products: wreaths, $15.
Hours: Friday-Sunday, 9–4.
Lone Fir Tree Farm
Headed west on Highway 8, take a left on NW Thornburg road. Follow the signs. Farm will be on the right.
Species: Noble, Grand, Nordmann, Douglas, Scotch pine, Colorado blue spruce.
Price: Noble: $25, up to 8' *
Grand: $20, up to 8' *
Nordmann: $20/tree
Douglas: $12/tree
Scotch pine: $10/tree
Colorado blue spruce: $5/tree
Services: Free shaking and wrapping, saws.
Other products: wide variety of wreaths.
