Installing Unity

A quick tutorial on how to install Unity. (for windows)

Unity Hub

Got to Unity.com and click the download button. Or select download Unity from the Dev tools pulldown menu.

Click download for windows, this will download Unity Hub. Open the download and install.

Now for Unity itself

Go back to the Unity download page. The latest version is linked just below the download for windows button. For this project though I am going to be using the 2019.4 version. For this, I will need to scroll down just a bit and select the visit the download archives link under step 2.

Clicking the link will bring you to the archives page

Select your version and click the Unity Hub button.

This will open the download of your chosen version in Unity Hub.

Choose which modules you want to include with your download.

Wait for it!

Wait for everything to download and install. Congratulations, you have successfully downloaded and installed Unity. Now get out there and create!
