The Comic Books of Ed, Edd ’N’ Eddy

Since it aired at the turn of the 21st century, Ed, Edd n Eddy is mostly referred to as a 90s cartoon — a side-splitting animated series created, written and directed by Canadian mastermind Danny Antonucci. Part of the original Cartoon Cartoons series which aired from 1996 to 2003 on Cartoon Network, Ed, Edd n Eddy was an unpretentious, original cartoon which managed to fit as a glove among the numerous wacky animations of the 90s, rivaling even the stupendous Nickelodeon shows.

If you’re able to remember a trio of awesome dudes hanging out in the cul-de-sac of Peach Creek, some crazed Kanker Sisters who are chasing them at all times or a piece of timber known as Plank, then you’ve certainly watched one or more episodes of this true masterpiece!

The Eds are Ed, Edd and Eddy: Ed’s the chicken-loving, paranoid, comic book geek, Double D is the neat freak genius and Eddy is the dimwitted con artist who might just about do anything for 25¢.

Among their countless schemes and trickeries imposed upon the other kids of the cul-de-sac, the Eds did also spend some time doing constructive activities, such as reading a whole bunch of comic books! Throughout the entire six seasons and full TV movie Ed, Edd n Eddy’s Big Picture Show there are plenty of comic book references and flashes, from titles such as The Curse of the Evil Tim to No-Body Man.
