Thoughts on Classical Music

Some of my friends don’t really know how I can enjoy classical music, perhaps they think it sounds pretentious and dull. And yet this very same group will listen to Beethoven’s 7th played in the background during X-Men Apocalypse and enjoy it. Classical music is not always instantly rewarding in the way a modern song is, because it builds up; and ultimately delivers a much more profound experience.
