Nancy MacLean Owes Tyler Cowen an Apology
Russ Roberts

Roberts is too kind to Maclean in failing to concentrate on how she utterly failed in her response to admit that she had misquoted Cowen despite his conclusive demonstration that she had done so. For her to have done it was a possible error. For her to fail to apologize and retract when it was pointed out to her so clearly is conclusive proof of bad faith — not to put too fine a point on it, she is now a proven liar. Hygiene requires that we say so, plainly.
