DIY Vertical Planter Made With Pallets Or Reclaimed Wood

• 145 x 145mm square blocks of reclaimed wood
• Plants
• Potting Soil
• Pliers
• Pencil and tape measure
• Small river pebbles for bottom of jars
• 120-and 240-grit sandpaper
• 2 Long lengths of threaded rod, washers and nuts
• Drill, suitably sized drill bit and hole saw.

You also need to know that the drill bit should be the same diameter as the threaded rot and the hole saw should be the same diameter as the neck of the glass jars you will be using. The lip or lid of the jar must be able to hold the jar on top of the wood block.
