It depends on the type of piece you’re creating. If you’re creating a website that is design focused, then I would make sure to credit the source of the design — generally this is done in the footer of the site.

if you are creating more a web app, and relying on CSS frameworks, then I wouldn’t worry about highlighting that you’ve used those.

I would also apply to roles which highlight programming as opposed to ux design. Often roles which have the title of ‘Software Developer’ are going to have more of a focus on functionality over design.
