Poetry. Ugh.
Nate McCowan

“Maybe I’m the crazy one
Since her and I clearly disagree
Everything needs logical purpose
And I think writers write to be.”

This right here. This is the exact reason why we write poetry. So many people disagree with it. So many people don’t understand it. But we write to exist. Other people don’t understand this, but when they fade into the obscurity of history, without words they won’t be there. It will be as if they never existed.
