I find that a bit foolish to say. If you look at the excerpts shared by the author of this article you’ll see a number of other females being just as toxic towards Emily as the men are being.

This is simply human nature.

I don’t know what it’s like to be a woman but, I know what it is like to be on a team…real or perceived.

I can recognize that team mentality.

People often take on a team mentality and when they do, if you’re not on their team you’re against them and it is okay to do/say whatever you want in an effort to “win” something.

In this case, it isn’t women vs men but, Sanders vs Clinton OR socialist vs capitalist OR, hell, any other sort of made up team.

This is less about genders and more about humans being vile towards each other as a result of that team mentality.

I think you’re focusing too much on a narrative that is just a part of the story and you are ignoring what the real story here is.
