I read this article yesterday and it got me thinking. What’s your take on the philosophy that Respect is earned?

Consider this logic: if you had accepted the contract you would have created an opportunity to make them understand the significance of your work(and marketing at large) through your work and hence earned the respect that you deserve?

In regards to the idea that if you don’t reject such contracts at the first instance of disrespect you are only delaying it for a later time, does it mean that it is guaranteed that things always go haywire when they begin with a little friction?

I think ‘sometimes’ is the answer.

A disclaimer should be put for your readers to highlight that circumstances vary least we think it’s a rule engraved on stone.

Decisions should be made after reviewing everything in totality including the circumstances.
