- One of the most memorable sights of Kolkata is the Kali Temple, which is one of the most iconic structures of the city. Hordes of devotees come to the Kali Temple every day.
- No visit can be made to Kolkata without also visiting the Victoria Memorial, which was built by the British back in the early 20th century. Having said that, there is also the Howrah Bridge, which is a must-visit. The crucial link across the Hooghly sees millions of footfalls every day.
Fun things to do
- Make a visit to the Gariahat Chess Club, where you can see people play chess in the open air. How about making a smart move or two with a competitor for fun?
- Don’t miss the Mullik Ghat flower market as well on your trip to Kolkata. The market is an amazingly colourful market and provides plenty of photo opportunities.
