However… may I challenge you and your colleagues to think about other distances and angles?

You may! We’ve been thinking about different ways to present art online in order to recreate the feeling and experience that seeing art in a gallery setting gives you (as opposed to trying to recreate the gallery itself online), and / or to be truer to the artist’s intended or expected presentation of the work.
