Hi Joe.. Nice to encounter a fellow follower of these things. I too have seen a great deal of this coming without even knowing anything about the economics of the world. Indeed I pride myself on such ignorance.. Why on earth would I say that? Well maybe pride is a strong expression, but I definitely think that a certain blindness to the ways of old actually helps to encourage an open mind to what ever else there may be. For example I’m currently engaged (as a side job) as Art Director for Dryden House Publishing, which is probably best described as a business type mechanism attached to a greater unit called The Dryden Experiment. This experiment is something I have written about here on my own Medium page, so I won’t repeat myself with lesser words since the original article does it much better justice. What I will say is that I believe the least painful path forwards for us is to (at least in the short term, whilst we transition to something more wholesome – think of it as warm up practice?) reduce the aspirations of Capitalism and settle for less and better distribution of wealth, such that we can rest a little and learn something which has been savagely lost, and which is probably why we’re going to suffer with President Trump – the art of community and cooperation. Thoughts?
