Resistance is Futile…why I refused to set up a twitter account, but should have a long time ago

It is not to say that I have not used twitter, I ghost write for clients and give counsel on how to use it for various purposes, but I never used it for myself, because I never felt that I had anything to say in 140 characters or less. Naturally it isn't that limiting…I was being stubborn for no apparent reason, let me get that out of the way.

I am using Medium to make this post and of course that expands the possibilities for twitter due to links from blogs, we all know that. Did i mention that I can be stubborn? My mother has twitter for heaven’s sake and she is 80. My consulting practice brought me into this world and I am going all the way.

Using the shoe maker and his children’s shoes analogy, my personal social media leaves a lot to be desired. Oh I will take care of yours, but my own…faagetaboutit! Naturally I thought that I should lead by example.
