PREFACE
Last week, the central government officially proposed to use blockchain as an important breakthrough for independent innovation of core technologies, clarify the main direction, increase investment, focus on a number of key core technologies, and accelerate the development of blockchain technology and industrial innovation. At the same time, in the forthcoming central bank digital currency DCEP, we found that its double-tier operating system is very similar to GeekChain’s “Double-Chain” consensus algorithm, which greatly enhances our confidence.
In the future, GeekChain will continue to uphold the principle of independent innovation and use the technical framework of “One Chain, One Application” to promote the landing of blockchain-related industries.

TECHNOLOGY
The test progress of BDT, ChainSDK and GeekChain
This month, the R&D team has basically completed the basic coding of the new BDT protocol js version as planned, and completed the basic test. The results of performance test show that the previous concerns are necessary, the mainstream routers need to consume the vast majority of CPU to complete the encryption and decryption of the protocol layer. Therefore, the implementation of BDT based on C language has been fully carried out and the overall cost of C language project implementation is relatively high (especially the full platform support), and the development team is expected to complete related development work by the end of 2019.
The overall progress of GeekChain is greatly affected by this, and the R&D team is making every effort to complete the planned work as soon as possible.
