There’s a thread going nuclear.
Sean Howard

I choose a dual approach:

Listening to those who are hurting and making sure they know I hear them.

Speaking not on their behalf, but as a backward-looking translator when those who have closed minds and hearts haven’t caught up.

The reality is that while you or I might appreciate the message as it’s been laid out for us, some of it will never impact its intended target just because of linguistic structure.

Because there are unfamiliar words that float and never land.

Unfamiliar, raw, exquisite words.

I must note it doesn’t matter which group I’m supporting that I wouldn’t fit into in my straight-cis-white-not technically obese-able bodied-ness.

I will listen, hear, educate myself, then help educate others all the same.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
