Am I missing something here? The writers being addressed all signed a letter disparaging Donald Trump, and the ending of this present letter does the same. We’re all against Trump, so what point was being made? I doubt any of the writers being addressed believes America is without sin or needs no change. The point right now is to stop Donald Trump, even as we carry on our lives concerned with helping our country to solve its problems and right its wrongs.
