You are NOT a Hunk of Useless Trash

You are not:
A cardboard box; At one time solid, sturdy and dependable now dented, ripped and scribbled upon. Words that describe what the box contained now completely define it.
A piece of old furniture; Underutilized, shoved in a corner. Dusty, misused and riddled with stains.
The missing sock; Alone and separated from the pack until rendered useless and tossed in the trash.
Dryer lint; A riff-raff collection of all the junk in the air destined to be the cause of huge failure.
A doormat; The object upon which people scrape their shoes to remove the dirt from their life travels.
A worn tire; Deflated, punctured or slowly leaking waiting to be replaced by a tougher, newer, better quality product.
A trophy; Noticed and appreciated only in the best of times; later relegated to a top shelf or attic no longer visible, relevant or useful.
A dirty dish; Alone and dirty within earshot of those debating who last helped, used or clean them.
