Apple doesn’t interview users and doesn’t ask them what they want. They were always a “I’ll tell you what you want” kind of company. Sometimes that works great, other times no so much.

Guy Kawasaki used to reiterate this point that companies should not ask consumers what they want because they’re only going to hear “I want better, faster, and cheaper”
