More Snow on Campus
It just doesn’t seem to want to stick. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a story.
It has been snowing for most of the day at Georgia Tech. Small, dinky flakes at times. Big, fluffy flakes on occasions too. The temperature has been hovering right above freezing, so the snow hasn’t had the opportunity to stick.
Sometimes you just have to appreciate it for what it is, a beautiful sight. Just like these three Georgia Tech freshmen. While filming some video of the huge snowflakes falling, we came upon these three staring up into the sky with bright smiles on their faces.

For Monica Hannon and Nicolette Sam it is their second time seeing snow. The first time? Less than two weeks ago when our campus closed early due to wintry precipitation. They dropped everything they were doing to take it all in.
“We left all of our stuff in the library and ran outside when we saw how big the snowflakes were.” - Nicolette Sam, industrial engineering major.
“It’s magical!” - Monica Hannon, chemical engineering major

The third member of the trio, Denisse Madera, is from New Jersey. She’s used to the snow, but still loves it.
“For me it feels like Christmas. I just wanted to experience it with them,” -Denisse Madera , industrial engineering major
These three weren’t the only Yellow Jackets enjoying the snow. @clintzeagler on Instagram says he tried to capture his snow beard as best he could.

While @hmglee wants everyone to know it’s not dandruff, it’s definitely snow.

@dodrio_ took this video of snowflakes falling outside the Klaus Advanced Computing Building.
