All this shyte just cracks me up. I grew up in an era where we had none of this, and we still had a blast. I should be more of a disciple as I’ve been doing business software devp for 22+ years now and I get to telecommute and it’s all lovely but in the end the internet and everything that goes with it is just another typical human “fix” (including the junkie sense) that has created as much or more stress and anxiety than it’s “fixed”. If the government wants waste my tax money on reading my ho-hum emails, they can do it. They will waste the money no matter what, so why not keep them distracted with my boring travelogs. Looking forward to another world where people just do art and grow food (i.e. planet earth in 500 years or less, read Limits to Growth). Cheers.
