Two Awesome Books for Depression and Anxiety
There are two great books available that are really, really helpful for anyone who suffers from anxiety or depression. They are:
I’m currently in the process of reading The Upward Spiral, which is an awesome book. The reason I love this book so much is because it’s based on actual science.
I have personally suffered from anxiety and depression for many years, and recently I decided to start seriously working on my anxiety and depression problems. That lead me to these two great books.
If you’re like me, you’re simply not the kind of person who can easily swallow overly simplistic sayings such as “oh just have confidence,” or “just stop being depressed,” you need something based on science, something factual.
I’ve only just started reading The Upward Spiral, but so far it’s been extremely helpful in my personal life. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is suffering from the same problems. If anxiety more of a problem for you than depression, you may want to take a look at Rewire Your Anxious Brain. Either way, these books are based on actual neuroscience and are not only incredibly helpful, but very informative and educational too.
