The Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange (GBX) has admitted token issuer the Õpet Foundation to issue their OPET token through the GBX Grid, supported by Sponsor Firm Venture Capital Network (VCN).

Õpet Foundation is building a blockchain to store the tertiary/college admission data of all high school students. In order to ensure data is accurately collected at the source, it is also developing a highly sophisticated mobile application chatbot to expand students’ horizons and serve as a learning companion to students in high schools globally. This companion will have a range of capabilities including a digital tutor companion, a personalised recommender, and a unified channel for interests, college applications and career counselling.
The Õpet token, OPET, is an ERC-20 utility token which is a crucial component to the Õpet ecosystem, using a ‘network incentive pool’ where users get rewarded in OPET tokens for creating and curating relevant curriculum content.

The launch of the GBX Digital Asset Exchange to the public has strengthened the GBX ecosystem by offering both token issuers and participants access to the complete token journey, from primary listings through to the secondary market exchange. Tokens launched on our institutional-grade token sale platform have the potential to be listed on the Digital Asset Exchange. The GBX provides a comprehensive service suite that mitigates risk for the issuer and instills confidence in participants through a trusted, secure exchange environment.
