15th Jan: Gibraltar House, London, Exclusive Update Seminar
On Monday, 15th January, the Gibraltar Stock Exchange (GSX) hosted an exceptionally successful exclusive update seminar about the Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange (GBX) for some of its closer partners and associates.
The GSX hosted the event at Gibraltar House, the very respectable building which the Government of Gibraltar owns on the Strand, London.
The GSX would like to thank the Minister for Financial Services, Albert Isola, for his warm introduction of all speakers and his words on the direction that Gibraltar is taking. The GSX would also like to thank Jonathan Garcia from the Gibraltar law firm, Isolas, for his legal overview, and George McDonaugh from Kryptonite 1 for his outlook on the blockchain industry.
In attendance were a mixture of technology, legal, financial, and investment firms, all of which are interested in the opportunities that blockchain technology will bring.
Concluding the update was Nick Cowan, CEO of the GSX Group, who explained the potential opportunities for both the new crypto space and for traditional finance.
Whether its token sales, the cryptocurrency exchange, or the plans to tokenise traditional securities, everyone was interested in the prospect of the new products and services that they might be able to bring to market.
The excitement and intrigue was clear — the evening concluded with networking and drinks which was alive with questions and ideas.
