Yesterday at the World Trade Centre in Gibraltar, Nick Cowan, CEO of the GSX Group, took to the stage as part of the 1-year anniversary for Startup Grind Gibraltar.
The Blockchain Innovation Centre (BIC) plays an integral part of the continued evolution of the Crypto Harbour here in Gibraltar. The development of a community that is educated, connected and inspired is key to filling the talent gap.
We were excited to announce yesterday that the first steps towards building this community within the Crypto Harbour had now begun.
The BIC has officially partnered with Startup Grind Gibraltar, powered by Google for Entrepreneurs.
Nick Cowan said: “We are thrilled to be working with Denise Matthews and the Startup Grind Gibraltar community. Together, we believe we can grow the blockchain community in Gibraltar which, as a jurisdiction, needs continued growth and new talent to help continue to build the sector.”
Philip Young, Marketing Director added: “The BIC has big plans to build on this already incredible community here in Gibraltar, but our plans have always been to do this in partnerships. Today, we announce our first partnership which will continue to drive us forward. We will be releasing more information in the coming weeks about our plans.”
