“All stress, anxiety, depression, is caused when we ignore who we are, and start living to please others.” — Paulo Coelho

YouTube has evolved far beyond a mere platform for entertainment; it has become a space for education, inspiration, and, increasingly, a platform for discussing mental health. As YouTube continues to grow in popularity, so does its influence on society, making it an essential space for addressing important issues like mental health.

As public figures, YouTube Creators have a unique platform and influence over their audience. By openly addressing their mental health and prioritizing self-care, Creators can lead by example and encourage their viewers to do the same.

From destigmatizing mental health to providing education, and fostering a positive community around mental well-being, in recognition of May being Mental Health Awareness Month, we share 10 YouTube channels that address mental health issues through thoughtful content.
