Lately people have noticed that Drake also known as Aubrey Graham has being killing the rap game. Dropping hits after hits and recently achieving the 4th artist to score 100 Billboard Hot 100 hits.

But I’ve come to the conclusion that the reason for his popularity and success is because his lyrics are highly relevant to everyone’s life. As we all know by this point that Drakes Take Care album was a banger and the reason was because that album spoke to all of us and helped us relate the songs to our issues.

The reason why a lot of artist cannot be compared or compete with Drake is because artist have not been to able to connect with some fans like Drake does. For example, a lot of hip hop artist like to rap/sing about past experiences that only a few can relate to but Drake does the same thing yet everyone can relate to it. Also hip hop artists like to show how different they are from everyone in the world claiming that we don’t know what they have been through which doesn’t do anything for the listeners other than just to sit and agree. Drake spins the whole situation and does the total opposite proving to us we are all the same and some of us go through the same struggle which helps fans show that they are not alone. Drake’s Take Care album has been known to be one of his most sappy albums because it hit every fan in the heart. Spitting true lyrics about how relationships are and the struggle of getting over ex gf/ flings. Fans connect with this album the most because the for the most part he takes how we feel and puts into words.

Not only does Drake relate to everyone sad moments but he also gets you motivated into doing something that you have always wanted and not regret it. For example, Drake brought the quote “you only live once (YOLO)” to light from the song “The Motto” and is still to date somewhat trending. If it weren't for that quote there would have been many moments in my life that I would I have regretted because I have would never had attempted to take the chance. He shows everyone that our life shouldn't be about regrets of not doing something. Instead it should be about being glad about experiencing and taken of every opportunity that was knocking on the door.
