Firstly, we would like to say big thanks for those who supported Gimmer by buying our tokens, joining our bounty and referral programs, watching our progress and participating in our token generation event as well as downloading and using our demo DAPP.
We have some very important information to share with you: Unfortunately, we have to pause our token sale (effective from 12:00 UTC 26 February), we will be back very soon!
But why?
During the token sale, after meeting various investors and blockchain experts, we realised that the role of the tokens in the Gimmer platform is much more profound than we had previously envisaged. We believe that we should now evolve the business model and token purpose within the new structure in mind.
Unfortunately, this came too late into the token sale, and as a result, we did not manage to engage large investors as our early contributors, but we still have their support and interest.
What’s next?
- We are planning a new strategy and will be announcing more strategic details in the next seven days. With the current support and interest we already have, we don’t expect the new token sale to take very long.
- We will run a private contribution round that will allow us to reach out and engage early investors to get the support and funding needed to drive the presale and token sale forward. This will secure a brighter, faster and smarter future of the project for the public.
- We will restructure the bonus scheme to the benefit of all token sale customers.
- We will increase our marketing and PR efforts to generate much more awareness of Gimmer.
- We will define a new Soft Cap and Hard Cap which will be set in US dollars instead of Ether, so we don’t fall victim of market volatility.
New token sale
To implement all these plans, we will start a new token distribution campaign in the upcoming days.
Before it starts, we will improve our smart contract, transform the token model, white paper, roadmap, and the whole token sale campaign. Also, we will negotiate with more exchanges and hire more staff to run the best-on-the market token sale.
Bonuses for believers
Because you have put your trust in the project from the outset, we will offer you many special privileges. If you decide to stay with Gimmer, we will provide you with a 40% bonus of your initial contribution. We are also working on some other exclusive benefits that we will announce in the upcoming days.
We have no doubt that together we will build a more efficient project architecture that will ensure the sustainable growth of the token price.
Refunds for non believers
If you decide that you no longer want to support Gimmer, you are entitled to a full refund of your contribution. We would still like to offer you some exclusive benefits in case you decide to come back in the future. Details on how to get the refund will be shared before 1 March 2018.
