— The Journey of being happy (Chapter 5)

This story is about a journey of a girl who was seeking happiness and meaning in life. The trip starts at the known to discover the unknowns.

In the previous chapter, the girl learned about the signigicance of communication in Creativity — Color it up together. Let’s discover what next she could remember in her journey.

Time always flies. They were both twenty-two young people. So, he decided to confess that he loved her, and she decided to tell him her feelings because their feelings just got stronger and stronger. It was a Saturday off for both of them. They made an appointment that they had something significant to talk about with each other.

He was well-prepared for what he wanted to tell her and wanted to know from her. That Saturday changed everything in his life. He was waiting for her, and she had never come that late before. He started to be panic. Her phone was off. And. She didn’t appear. Therefore, he crossed the street to take a bus to her house. He thought maybe something terrible had happened. Suddenly, he was hit by a white car while his mind was still full of her imagination.

That accident took him six months in hospital to recover, and he lost his right hand and got paralysis of the bottom part. The young boy might have to use the wheelchair for his entire life.

He lost the meaning of life. He didn’t know what he could do without a hand. Above all, he missed her so much. But she did not visit him even once. He did not know if he should confess his feelings for her. It would make the case more complicated. The will to meet her became more vital.

He suffered depression in the next six months at home: did not talk to anyone, waited for something ambiguous, and even wanted to murder himself. But every time he looked at her pictures in his shell-space, he missed her more than ever. At the most horrible moment of his life, he got a present from an anonymous small little boy. That boy gave him the book ‘Life without limits’ and said: ‘never give up’.

He opened the book’s first pages and smiled at the title: “No arms, no legs, and no limits.” If there were out there nothing called a miracle, he would become one.

He actually had a domain that involved him in creativity. It was so hard in the beginning. Not being able to control the movement of his left hand, he wanted to give up several times. Thus, he learned to draw again with his left hand to eliminate the thoughts that he was now just a useless piece of life and that painting and drawing were the things he could do the best and pay passion for.

He thought at least he still had a hand and two eyes to see and feel the colors. He could still play with colors again.

After one year of recovery, he got back the meaning of life thanks to the anonymous boy’s present. He was hardworking at learning and drawing. His first painting exhibition got a lot of interest from young people and artists. The exhibition named: “For my beloved!”

Final Thought

Domain is important for creativity. Without domain, it likes there is no fundamental knowledge for one to start with creating new and meaningful value.
