Perseverance

Showing Perseverance comes in words but actions speak louder than words. Barack Obama shows perseverance with his words and actions because he is the president of the United States, he has duties that he could veto or solve and he goes out his way to make sure everyone is equal.

Homosexuals been around for years without equals rights or fairness shown against them. When others felt he was wrong because he was going against the Bible but he pushed though the judgement and the opinions of others. He was another Dr.king and Lincoln who fought for everyone to be equal as everyone.

Responsibility

Charles Drew was a African American surgeon, who felt that it was job to go the study of medicine because his sister died of influenza. Charles took responsible for his sister death to help safe other lives.

Oprah Winfrey faced the struggle and made success out of it without sinking into the water without watering her plants to the rest of the world. Oprah says “ I don’t think of myself as a poor deprived ghetto girl who made good. I think of myself as somebody who from an early age knew I was responsible for myself, and I had to make good.”

Muhammad Ali is a very honorable man. He did things outside his career that involve him fighting as with his religion and for his rights and his people.

Rosa Parks fought for her rights by taking action for what she thought what was wrong and unfair. She served her punishment as sign to keep going.
