CHAPTER 1: Know Who You Are

As corny as it sounds the first thing you MUST have is knowledge of who you are. You have to love who you are without regard for anyone else’s opinion. Don’t try to be Beyonce or anyone else, Beyonce already got that job locked up. Be the best version of you, that you can be.

The most dangerous thing you can do is to date someone and not understand who you are or what you are worth. When you don’t know who you are and don’t understand your worth, you allow someone else to determine who you are and set your value. You MUST be cautious of who you let speak into your spirit and that may be your friends, family, neighbors, church folk whomever.

You MUST show a man or woman how to treat you. A man or woman will NEVER treat you better than you treat yourself. They may be use to a certain kind of person who will do anything and everything, twice. But you have to set the tone of how you will be treated. And if you can’t do that, your not responsible enough to date.
