Glad someone else finally recognized the 3/5ths thing. Your shortcomings on understanding opposition to Obamacare is where the money comes from when it is from the employer or from the government in a single payer scheme. Everyone still pays in those scenarios it is just from money they would have received as wages or money they pay in taxes based on which scheme you choose. Those who oppose things like Obamacare think that *gasp* people can spend money more effectively on themselves than 3rd parties. If instead of an employer plan you get the money that is spent on that insurance then suddenly you have a way to find a solution.

The problem with modern politics is the increased tribalism and those at the top making policy decisions based on political calculations not helping actual people.
