On one hand you want life to be color blind and on the other you seem to only recognize very specific and stereotypical people. There are poor whites and rich blacks. Race isn’t an American problem. People have been using differences between groups to drive wedges between them since the dawn of time.

I don’t really know people against immigration. People are against what they perceive as unlimited immigration and illegal immigration where some break the rules to come here anyway. We have over 40 million foreign born people here according to the Census. Personally I would drop the privilege rhetoric. We all have privilege to some degree based on when and where we live in relation to all of human history. Though things could certainly be better. We should probably focus on how to make that happen exactly.
